This is for the guy's brother-in-law who died in Iraq. The curve of the calf makes the lettering look really off at the angle the photo was taken. this was the second session. Let me have it.
thanks for looking. _________________ http://www.LonniePease.com

I really really like the flag. The shading is AMAZING! The ONLY suggestion I would make is that the blue on the flag is a little too bright. Which after it heals may look better.
I can't even dream of doing something that good, so please don't take offense.
Do you have any pictures from the first session? I am really interested in the shading and line work layout for the flag.
Nice Job! |

Thanks. There are actually four different shades of blue there with black shading in the wrinkles so it should look much different when healed. The rest of the flag was healed in this pic. There were no lines for the stripes, I ust started shading then coloring them straight from the stencil. In this pic, the blue area along with the color in the eagle, the shading in the cross, and the star part of the bronze star, as well as the bible verse at the top are new. The rest is healed from the first session. I'll look for a progress shot from last session. _________________ http://www.LonniePease.com

| at first I didn't like how you lose the bottom of the flag to the clouds, but now looking at it again I actually think it's great and gives the piece a nice flow. |

Thanks. Yeah, thinking about anybody lost in this whole mess is disturbing and very sad. We all know where the blame falls though and I hope some people's consciences are haunted forever. I really feel for the widow of this guy. She was just getting started in life with him before she lost him. I think anybody who can send a kid off to die like that should be obligated to send their child first. It just might change how quickly we jump into war. _________________ http://www.LonniePease.com
