harley paint question

i have a customer who wants me to stripe his denim or satin or flat painted harley.....however when he bought it from the dealership it already had some bad custom pinstriping on it....i believe it is one shot but i guess my question is is...will easy off take it off or will it hurt the denim paint? Has anyone tried this before? any help wold be awsome

The only thing I can suggest is put some easy off on a rag and put it on the bike in a spot you don't see. Then if it doesn't do anything to the paint it should be okay to use on the striping. You can also tell the coustomer before you try it on the striping that you can't guarantee it will not hurt the paint and get him to sign a work order that states that.

I believe those satin denim bikes are powdercoat, not paint, I would be super careful! maybe try some micro finishing compound and just try rubbing it off. good luck!

they are powder coat.i did some ghost flames on one and then put flat clear back on.and those gay cross bones stripes are silk screaned look close.too perfect.they may not come of.maybe laq thinner.

i don't thing on the metal it is paint.try sanding it.it eats up paper fast.the plastic parts are paint.
